Libraries play a vital role in attaining the educational goals and fulfilling the instructional needs of the programmes offered by Universities. As they serve as a source of professional reference services and information to supplement classroom and laboratory, learning. Libraries also contribute to the teaching/learning environment of the academic departments. A library is nucleus of an Academia; Govt. College Women University Faisalabad main library with an extensive collection of valuable books. The library is open for the students for consultation. Here, not only books but periodicals, research publication and newspapers are also available. Every year new books are added to this treasure, just to fulfill the requirements of the students. The mission of GCWUF Library is to provide the right information to right person at the right time in a right way. Library promotes the reading culture and provides access to information on diverse academic disciplines. The library serves community with up to date information through different sources including digital library, online research journals, periodicals, etc. All users from faculty, staff or students, are encouraged to make full use of the available resources.NOTE:

The University provides pick and drop facility to the students. For this purpose, two University buses serve on assigned routes covering different parts of the city. All rights of permission to avail this transport facility are reserved with the university and can be denied to any student. No student shall be entitled to claim this facility as a matter of right. Transport facility will be allotted on First Come First Serve basis. Routes and pick up points are indicated and are subject to change from time to time.
